The Synopsis
|
This is
Earth.
A
glowing orb of life, silent and unaware within the echoes and eons
of space. Here, humanity finds comfort in the notion that we are
alone within the stars.
But in
2008 as Earth and its children hurtle towards an uncertain destiny,
it will take not only a new breed of hero to defend this planet...
but a family.
Impending doom chokes out the light of hope as word comes in from
all over the world with reports of strange glowing grids appearing
within the sky - heralding a song from the stars... and with it: a
monstrous evil's shadow falls upon the Earth. An evil - older than
time.
But
there is hope yet.
Earth
has its heroes... even if they don't realize it yet.
High-school student Esmeralda DuFontain, knows that what lay
beyond the stars, what the government and media explain as nothing
more than a hoax, is an alien evil unlike anything Earth has ever
seen... and something far, far worse.
Esmeraldy knows this, because her best friend, her childhood love,
Gideon Lander, knows this. She knows this because it happened like
a dream... No... A nightmare.
Moments ago she and Gideon, along with a mysterious janitor, whose voice
could literally crack the earth with only a whisper, were whisked
away in the dead of night made by the Sun's solar eclipse on an
adventure, a quest within the stars to an alien planet 300 billion
light years from Earth.
And
when they reached this planet, when the dust settled, when the
smoke cleared, they were about to find out... that nothing stays
lost forever.
